History: watch an historical fiction movie

Language Arts: Word Games – mad libs, catch phrase, scrabble

Thinking: build a puzzle, work a maze, play Nancy Drew on the computer

Health: proper care of someone when sick, medicines to take, what to do at the doctor. (this can be for the sick person, or those not sick!)

Service: how do we help those who are sick (this is for brothers and sisters J)

Read-A-Loud: a sick child is often entertained by books being read
